Fall '26 Steel Drums-SomeExp Grades 5-12

Service Description

This class will move at a reasonable pace with slightly more advanced music arrangements. Students will be given the opportunity to play at least two different kinds of steel drums. Please note: The Wed, November 11th class will meet on Thursday, November 12th instead due to the Veteran's Day holiday. * Music experience equals any of the following: Participation in a school steel band or marimba group, participation in a middle or high school band or orchestra or participation in summer steel band or marimba classes. Culmination Concert - Thursday, November 19th, 6:30pm This class will be taught by Mr. Spencer Blake, who teaches music and steel band at Jefferson Elementary in Richland. Spencer played in Kid Calypso, Ok2Botay and Bram Brata. He will be capably assisted by current members of Ok2Botay and Bram Brata.
