Registration is under way for our winter after-school classes!  We are offering both steel drum and marimba courses.

Steel drum classes are held weekly on Tuesday afternoons, 4:30-5:30p, from January 19 through March 23, with a recital on March 25. Contact Manchi Gadbois (509-967-5298) for more information. Download the steel drum class registration form.

Marimba classes will be weekly on Thursday afternoons from 4:30-5:30p beginning January 21 and running through March 25. Marimba students will join steel band students for the recital on March 25. Our Fall session marimba and steel drum classes are coming soon! These classes provide a rich, upbeat music learning experience for kids grades 5 through 12. Our experienced instructors and student helpers do a great job teaching music fundamentals in a fun environment.

The Fall sessions meet 10 times, culminating in a recital concert on December 11. Steel drum classes begin on September 22 and marimba classes begin on September 29. All classes are held at our studio near the Richland airport. See our classes page for more information.

We’ve finished up another year of summer steel drum and marimba classes .  Led by our fantastic Directors Ben Leggett and Walt Hampton, along with helpful student volunteers, our classes build kids’ musical skills in a positive, fun, encouraging environment.

We offer two two-week sessions of steel drum instruction and one two-week session of marimba instruction.  Each class session ends with a public performance for parents, grandparents, friends and passers-by.  Check our our Classes page for more information about our classes.

If you missed the summer classes, we offer after school classes in the autumn and winter.  Check back for details as summer winds down.
