We are now taking registrations for marimba summer classes. The session is June 12-21. Three levels of classes are offered dependent on grade level and experience. Classes are $70 for the session and are held at the TCSBA Studio on Terminal Drive. Marimba Clinics Offered!
The Bahuru marimba band is offering a marimba clinic on February 25. The proceeds from the clinic will be used for their summer trip. Two clinics are offered at the Tri Cities Steel Band studio:
- 12-2p class is for 7-9 year olds and the
- 2:30-4:30p session is for 10-12 year olds.
This is a great opportunity for children to get some marimba experience! There are only 25 spots per session, so if your child is interested, or if you know of someone else that is interested, it is suggested that you send in your registration as soon as possible. Marimba Clinic Information

Fall Classes Are Open For Registration!
Registration is under way for our 2011 Fall marimba and steel drum after-school classes. Your child will love the challenge, fun and excitement of after-school music experience. All classes are held at the TCSBA studio (1857 Terminal Drive, Richland) and ends with a recital concert at Chief Joe MS on Friday, Dec 9.

Summer 2011 Classes
Registration is under way for our 2011 summer marimba and steel drum courses. Your child will love the challenge, fun and excitement of a two-week intensive music experience this summer. We stagger the class times to accommodate students who may want to take both marimba and steel drum.
Steel drum classes run in two-week sessions with an evening recital on the last day. Contact Terri Stivers for information.
Marimba classes will also be held in two-week sessions. New music will be taught in each session so that students can come to both sessions for a whole month of marimba fun. Contact Kelli Henson for more information.
